Grounding aluminum siding
A house inspector said that aluminum siding on the house I was buying should be grounded and wasn't. Is it this true? If so, how do you ground aluminum siding? What type of wiring and stakes should be used?

According to one source, grounding of metal siding and roofing is not required by most major building code organizations. Some local building codes might require it, so check with local building inspectors. You could also call local siding contractors- they should be familiar with the code in your area.
