melted vinyl porch ceiling

I'm in the process of buying a house and it looks like the previous owner used his grill under the covered porch. It looks like just one or two sections of the ceiling need to be replaced. What s the procedure for removing and reinstalling a section of vinyl porch ceiling.
Thanks.

Aaah, reminds me of doing remodeling work on quad units at the University of Georgia. Only these residents melted the siding and the ceiling with a grill. And these kids will be our future leaders, think about it! The ceiling is probably just 12" wide solid soffit material. Obviously with it being partially melted, you can see how they hook together. Only one side of the soffit is nailed (loosely), and the next one is just hooked to it and nailed on the next end. There is a special hook tool you can find at most big box stores or at a vinyl siding store that will enable you to unhook the soffiting to allow you to remove the bad ones and replace them. Good luck in finding a matching color.
