How to caulk hardiplank siding
Could someone please tell me if the hardiplank should be caulked at each horizontal overlap or only on the vertical joints between the hardiplank and the trim. Thanks so much.

The siding is NEVER caulked along the horizontal laps, and caulking at vertical joints is optional when a permanent flashing is placed behind the joint.
