Comparing vinyl siding color costs
Just wondering if anyone knows how much difference in price their is between white and a special order color of vinyl siding? I know they say white is the cheapest due to it usually being in stock. Thanks in advance! Jack

Millions of homes have vinyl siding. Low maintenance, various colors and styles, easy installation.
Don't live on top of your neighbors is always a good idea, but not everyone has that option.
Sorry I can't answer the original question, but if you find a distributer, they may have many more colors in stock than your typical Box store.

I know Im already sick of my white siding.. and thats what.. 8yrs old ?
I agree with GunGuy.. stop living right on top of your neighbour.. ppl even move out of a city (where they work), and way out into the rural.. only to live in a subdiv with houses 10ft apart. Meanwhile they pass by rural-ish areas with nice homes on 5 acre lots... they dont feel safe of something, i dunno. Maybe its chasing that dream of ever-increasing property values.
Anyhow, I digress.. lol
My white siding shows everything, from the nicotine thats blown out this "smoking room" (btw, magic erasers work), to fly and bird poop, etc. Im sure in a more crowded area (we have 600ft to closest neighbour), it would show the neighbour's bbq smoke etc too.
I saw one house with a sandy gray kinda main siding, with white corner moulds and window trim.. pretty sharp, still some cleaning but not as bad, id think.
Ill second the dont go to the big box store thing. Find a decent lumber yard where the contractors go, or some supply places that specialize in siding/soffit/facia etc. Generally better grade (thicker) siding and more options for fittings/odd shapes in the job.
