vinyl siding over concrete/stucco ????
when siding over a home that is concrete or stucco ,the use of 1x3's (furring strips) are obviously needed. my question is what to do between the gaps of the strips? i would imagine most guys fill the gaps with insulation board. if so,how do you guys secure the insulation board? is it just jammed in there or nailed?

You can use an insulation type adhesive, one of the PL lines whether it is PL400, 200, etc. Or you can use a combination of glue and cap nails, used to install felt on roofs. You will need to know if it is concrete or stucco, and what is behind the stucco before you will be able to get precise informaiton.
