corner issue

I have a bay window area that I am attempting to J channel and side. I am having some issues due to the fact that there are 4 pieces of j channeling meeting here. Anything that I have attempted leaves spaces exposed to the elements. Any suggestions?

Instead of trying to put j-channels on the inside and outside corners of your angles, trim the corners with something dimensional. Azek pvc trim, or similar, comes to mind. The trim could also be clad w/ white aluminum trim coil, or a color that matches your siding so that the color blends in. The idea is to separate the areas below each window into separate sections so that your j-channel in each section will form a picture frame.

On some bay/bow windows, I'll trim the corners as described above, and then if I'm cladding the corners with trim coil, I'll bend a 1 piece cover for the corner that incorporates a j-channel and nailing fin into the profile so that no additional j-channel is necessary on the corners. Looks a little cleaner that way, imo.
