Installing a New Vinyl Soffit

I'm replacing wood soffit and fascia board with vinyl soffit and PVC fascia (trim) board on a brick home.
My question is this-
What is the best way to attach the soffit material to both the house side and fascia side.

Thanks,
Joe

Soffit Installation

I used lath screws which I think is easier than nails but more costly. The head size is about the same as a roofing nail.

Not familiar with a lathe screw, but if you don't like using roofing nails, stainless steel truss head screws work well.

Lath Screw

Same screw, different name.

I like using screws overhead rather than trying to drive nails upside down.

180 seconds later....................................

I would think so... they have them at our local Menards so I'm sure they are at Lowes and HD. If not, there's always the internets! LOL
