Fixing Cracks in Fiber Cement Siding

Hello, I have a home that is 5 yrs old and was sided with fiber cement siding. The siding has several cracks in it. Unfortunately the product is no longer under the full warranty that covers materials and labor so I am hoping to "patch" these cracks. Just wondering what the best product to use to do this. Masonry/cement caulk (osi quad), or cement patch material, the stuff that is like spackling.

Thanks

Could you supply a pic or two?

A quality latex caulk would probably be fine.
