Flat aluminum or vinyl siding

Looking for flat siding that looks like bead board to be hung vertical. Any suggestions?

Thanks John

Its called "Board and Batten" siding. You can search for it and get all the various companies that sell it.

I'm assuming you'd like a vertical beaded siding that is vinyl.... perhaps something like Certainteed beaded triple 2". (shown here as soffit, but can also be installed vertically as siding)

Here's another from Certainteed I saw on a residence recently. Looks pretty good. Only thing is all the dirt and stuff catch in the bottom jchannel where it rests. Normally it sheds off with horizontal siding, but exposed jchannel is a catch all. http://www.certainteed.com/resources/cts174.pdf

Welcome to the forums rualesbuilding!

Vinyl siding can be painted! Traditionally you had to stay with a color no darker than the factory color but with the new 'vinyl safe' technology for paint - vinyl can be painted most any color.

Thank you rualesbuilding for correcting something I didn't bring up. Everything requires maintenance, it's just some requires less than others. As Marksr says, anything can be painted.....almost.

The OP was looking for a particular design in siding. Providing that information is what we are here for. We look forward to your input, all the way from London.
