exterior bottom corner missing stucco, mortar, and builders paper

I have a very small area that needs repair on the lower corner of the house. a tiny section of wood is exposed, it is intact and not showing any rot. there is no builders paper or the wire mesh in this area but there is on other parts of the house that have had repair.
I bought stucco patch, repair mortar. what else do I need. thank you

I pulled back some of the dirt on the corner to reveal and added a shoe to illustrate the size of the area.

I'm a painter, not a mason but I'd think you could just go ahead and patch it. probably take 2 coats of mud.
