Siding rot by shingles on dormer
I have a similar problem but its on an A-frame roof where the siding touches the shingles. I used Spray & Forget to get rid of algae & moss but the wood was already rotted. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forums PCputter!
Obviously any rotten wood needs to be replaced. If you post some pics we'd have a better idea of why they rotted and how to prevent a reoccurrence - http://www.doityourself.com/forum/el...your-post.html

I have tried and will continue to try and post a jpg. Currently I have wireless with just one bar and that may be the problem although I have no problem uploading photos on other applications.

Siding should never be that close to the roofing. I'd cut any of the siding you keep and install new so there is a 1" gap between the bottom of the siding and the shingle. That will prevent the siding from wicking up rain water.
