Proper Clearance for Hardie Siding at Arched Window

What should the clearance be for Hardie siding when it joins on the sides of an arched window casing? 1/8" like an end that meets a piece of trim? Or 1/4" such as required when above a drip cap? Also, I would think no sealant like required above a drip cap to allow for drainage?

Personally I would leave 1/8" gap and caulk it tight, just like you would on a vertical corner. In this instance, keeping water out is more important... as long as the horizontals have a 1/4" space and it is left uncaulked, it will drain.
