vinyl siding around wood walk out

I am remodeling the back of my house and I built a step with railing on either side coming off of the house and I don't know how to tie the vinyl around it as there is a corner very close to the door.

How do I make this corner work with a railing that I have to make?

Is this deck covered with a roof over it?
Reason I ask is if there's no roof, that decking is way too close to the wall and the threshold.
There's a couple of different ways to do it, the simplest way would be to use a piece of 5/4 (not 3/4!) PVC lumber ripped to fit between the Brick molding and the outside corner that's cut to length so it will be at least 1" above the top railing with a small piece of Z moulding at the top of it to keep water from getting in behind it.
PVC lumber can be painted to match the siding color.
I'd use my Kreg tool when installing the railings and use 3" long screws if drilled on the underside of the railing you would not see the screws.
I'd also replace that wooden brick moulding with PVC brick molding so it would not rot out at the bottom.

Can't see how your other post sits without a picture from farther away.

Well then your post could be notched and bolted to the side of the rim joist. It will sit in front of the vinyl corner and it does not get attached to the house at all. You might just want to get your j channel and siding nailed on first because it might be a little hard to nail it if you wait to side it until after the railing is up.

Run a piece of your decking through a table saw so it fills the space between the deck and the sill nose. It should be as long as your door trim is wide. (Outside edge to outside edge)
