Is it ok to pull the siding and leave house exposed to weather for a few weeks?

Hello, I need to pull my siding to install two sets of french doors. I'm still waiting for some supplies to arrive to initiate the job and I KNOW this is going to take me 10x longer than it would take a normal person to complete this job. I want to get a jump on it and pull my siding down around the doors now, but that's probably going to leave my house wrap exposed for a few weeks. Do you think this will be ok? I know my house wrap doesn't go around the door RO's so I know some of the sheathing will get wet if it rains, and it's expected to rain next weekend.

Thanks.

Houses under construction are always getting rained on so it's not going to be catastrophic,

If you want to cover it get a blue tarp or heavy sheet of plastic!

I was thinking that too. Do you know the best way to attach it? Maybe clips to the upper layer of siding I didn't pull or tape it down?

Just curious what pro's do?

Thanks

I would put a board over the edge and nail to the sheeting to keep from tearing!
