Siding to steel truss
I have this pole barn i am going to enclose using horizontal girts outside the poles (also adding more poles). Since the roof framing has quite a bit of overhang I am trying to figure out how to attach the framing to the trusses, inline with outside girts to lay the siding over it. I can't seem to find any framing photos that have this overhang.
Thanks

Not really sure if this is what you're asking, but I would probably put a piece of 2x6 blocking laying flat between your roof perlins, so that it's laying flat on top of the steel trusses. Secure the blocking to the perlins. Then attach your posts to that blocking. Nothing really needs to be fastened to the steel. I wouldn't go drilling holes in it.
