Need to replace windows but have asbestos siding

We have a 1970's house with old drafty windows that we just bought (in Minnesota). We want to replace the windows for obvious reasons, but we had the siding tested and it is asbestos siding. Now I'm wondering what considerations we need to have if we want to replace the windows. I'm starting to have buyer's remorse. The roof is going to need replaced to sooner than later too.

Depends on if they covered up your exterior window trim with the siding or not. If the siding doesn't cover the trim there is no issue at all.

Unless you cut the asbestos siding [making dust] it doesn't pose any issues ..... and asbestos siding paints well.
