PVC Rake Material

I had my rakes replaced with PVC materail a few years ago. It looks like they have shrinked in length creating a few gaps. Will PVC shrink iwth age?

Typically it shrinks in winter, and expands in summer.

any tips on this repair? i am hoping its just trim install, caulk and paint

Old Silicone Caulk on Stucco

I'm stupid. Getting ready to have my house painted. I was trying to remove old silicone from around this light fixture. I used a wire wheel on a drill. All I did was grind the caulk down and spread it out and pressed it deep into the stucco. See grey area. I did this on 3 light fixtures. Looking for options to cover this before the painters come so the paint do not peel off. Should I cover the area with stucco patch. Should I get a grinder and take off the top surface of the stucco. I am reading that spraying it with Kilz shelac won't last. Thank you!
