Best exterior trim material that will not yellow

I want to buy a new round gable vent for my garage under construction. I see both urethane and pvc materials used. I want something that comes in white, does not need to be painted and will not yellow over time.

What should I be looking for?

Any plastic will deteriorate is in direct sunlight. You want a metal vent. Most likely specially made and will need to be painted.

All the vinyl vents I've installed in the past 15 plus years still look brand new.

Depends on how much sunlight they get. On a north end exposure, no problem, but a south or west exposure 15 to 20 years at best. In my whole neighborhood any west or south exposure had to have all the vents replaced.

Hmm. I guess I will have another look at the ones I have on my house. I have one that appears to be fypon and the other is PVC. They have been up for 4 years.
