Siding issue: Is this okay?

We had some aluminum siding "coming up", so we nailed it back down. We couldn't use the original hole because the top of the screw had broken off in the hole.

I'd feel better if it was lying flush. How could we do that? Do we even need to be concerned about it?

The nail you see on the right is in as far as it will go.

Thank you in advance.

Use a white screw if you want to keep them together.

XSleeper,

What is the difference between a white screw and one that isn't? Why will it do better?

Thank you.

A white screw is one which will match the color of the siding.
