Tractor will not start

Mahindra 7060 Neutral indicator is not lit and tractor will not start using the switch. Is there a fuse in this circuit? If so, which one?

Do the usual checks. Make sure all your safety switches/interlocks are in the correct position for starting (seat switch, transmission neutral, pto disengaged or pto clutch depressed, brake depressed...). If it's none of them then I'd check to make sure your battery is good, charged and the connections are clean and tight.

the answer to my question is NO, there is not a fuse in the circuit. The problem was a broken wire at the 4 speed gear shifter.

Good, glad you found it. Years ago I had a similar problem with my Kubota. Apparently while skidding logs in the forest a stick poked up and pulled a wire loose. I didn't notice when it happened since the engine was already running.

A common problem with newer tractors is having a Fusable Link in the starter circuit.

I had a Cat 525 skidder that had that problem, but Kubota's have fusuble links too in their start-circuits. It is a bear to find because they are often hidden from view, and worse if you do not know they are there!
