lazure painting??

Hi.
My wife found a paint technique called lazure. There is a website by the same name that shows examples of the technique. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this? I am not going to be able to attend one of their classes - 1000 miles is a crazy distance to drive to learn how to paint. Any Ideas?

Thanks

I never heard of this, so I checked out the website. Seems to me you could get a similar effect using a little paint with a lot of glaze and several layers. Just speculating. Would like to know more about it.

i hadn't heard of it either, but i'll bet he has to use an airbrush to get the colors to blend that much, especially the rainbow effects.
