Smile How To Faux Finish

I have never done faux finishing before so I would greatly appreciate some advice. I would like to make it look streaky on one accent wall to look like the grey accent wall on this link

What kind of tools/paint/etc. would I need? Thank You!

i've never seen that before. it just looks like a bad paint job to me!!! looks like they used a regular paint roller & just did vertical strokes, overlapping & not any attempt to blend it whatsoever. let it dry & then go back with some more vertical strokes randomly til it looks like that. you might also NOT stir the paint for the second layer.

I would call that "very bad paint job in gray". It appears to be, as Annette mused, a bunch of roller lines. You could probably get a cool streaky look using a charcoal paint and a black or dark charcoal glaze applied with a plastic trowel, however, I wouldn't try and duplicate that.
