Fuax Finish on plywood

What are the best applicators and techniques for painting plywood so it is practically indistingusihable from drywall?

Skim it smooth with joint compound first and then prime and paint. That said, you tape drywall joints to prevent movement from causing cracks, I don't know how to address the plywood joints.

3rd post on the same subject asked different ways. Cover the ply with 1/4" drywall, tape, mud and paint.....I guarantee that is will look just like drywall.
