Hello. I had some water damage in my home, so I had to rip out portions of my wall and ceiling drywall. I've repaired the drywall, and now I need to paint. However, all of my home's walls are texturized. I know Home Depot has some "texturizer" in a can. Not sure if that will do the trick to match the patterns or not. Any feedback is appreciated. I'm repairing , recaning and repainting a traditional style black antique rocker and would like to be able to repaint the thin gold lines which appear on the spindles and legs but since they're quite thin I don't know how that might be done. I'm definitely not a good enough painter to paint them freehand. Maybe the areas could be masked and then painted but I'm hoping there's another more effective technique. Any suggestions? Thanks.
