end-posts next to house
I am installing a 4' chain-link fence. Two of the end posts need to be next to the house which is on a slab. I can only dig ~6" hole before I hit concrete from the slab that sticks out ~6-8". What can I do to anchor these posts?
I have thought of:
1. bend the post - How does one do this with very limited tools?
2. Chip/cut away the concrete
3. Anchor the post to the house? (don't really want to do this)
4. Use a wider hole? How wide? I tried this and failed miserably - which is why I'm here.

You are hitting the footing of the house. No, you don't want to chip or cut it away. Without attaching the post to the house, all you can do is set the post closest to the house in about 6" of concrete, then set another post within about 2' or 3' -- THAT one will be in a real footing -- 1-1/2' to 2' deep -- and will be the one that bears the strain of the fabric.
