I have standard chain link fence... need to find way to make it taller?????

I have a 4ft fence that my dog is jumping. I need to know what I can do other than electric fence.

I had thought about putting chichen wire 2-3ft high around the top of the fence but that will look very ugly.

Any ideas??? I have brain stormed and cannot think of anything besides installing an "invisiable"/electric fence.

HELP!

Thanks!

Depending on local building / community codes, a higher fence may not be an option. The invisible fence may be your best choice. However, if the dog is as bull headed as one down the street from me, he will take the pain to get where he wants to go - which of course is out of his yard.

no rules of codes. i am sorta in the country and we do not have an HOA.

HOwever, i do not want anything unsightly for several reasons...one being respect to the neighborhood and my desire to keep our neighborhood as nice as it is. If you came through here you'd think there was an HOA.

Anyway, Roxy is bullheaded but she is also a wuss. I am certain an invisable fence would work but I was looking for better ideas.

I had thought about taking some post and running bob wire 2-3ft above the fence.

Thanks for the advice.
