Liftmaster gate opener

Hi. I have a liftmaster gate opener. It was installed in 1995. It has link controls model number RSW-33-11-B2. Serial number is 058770100000009. It will open but only clicks when I try to close it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forums.

It would click on a demand to close but if there was a safety switch tripped there would be no gate movement.
Is this a Liftmaster or a PowerMaster operator ?
I'm going to need to see a picture of the control board to see what options are connected.
How-to-insert-pictures.

That must be a big gate. That's a powerful drive.
Artisan Controls..... used to be a neighbor. They've moved to Randolph, NJ.
Let me look over what you posted.

You're calling it a Liftmaster..... but I can't find any listing of that at Liftmaster. If it doesn't say Liftmaster on it..... it's probably a Power Master. I haven't found much information at that site either. It looks like it was assembled from several company's parts. I'm still looking.

I sent the pictures to a man at powermaster and he said it wasn't theirs. The box it's in and the motor, gears belt ECT is exactly like the Liftmaster SW420. The link/ artisan is a different control system maybe?

Yay!!

I fixed it!! 😁 The open / close switches were first and cover with spider webs. I cleaned them good and lightly sanded the connections and BAM..... IT WORKED

Artisan is the gate timer.

Good job. Thanks for letting us know how you made out.
