Adapting metal fence pole for wood fence at corner

I want to add a short run of wood fence from metal pole to the wood 4x4 holding the new wood gate. In the end I just need two horizontal 2x4s running from metal post to wood so I can attach fence slats. Are there any metal-to-wood adapters? Any suggestions other than setting an additional wood post?

Use a couple of these two hole straps to attach a 2X4 flat against the pole and nail your rails to it and to the wood post.

I get the concept. I'm having a hard time finding these for a 2 3/8" pipe. I found this I could try to repurpose but I'd need to use a 2x8 since this adapter is over 6 inches. Are you aware of a two hole strap as you mentioned above in the size that's fit the 2 3/8" pipe?

Actually, is it a 2" I would need to fit a 2 3/8" pipe? Like this...

2 inch is the inside diameter of the pipe. Outside dimension is 2 3/8. A 2 inch pipe strap will fit around 2 3/8.

I just wanted to follow up with the final result. I used a pipe strap as mentioned by 2john02458. Thank you! Here are pics of the final product.
