P-25 breakdown

P-25 breakdown
I came into the possesion of a P-25 Raven Arms pistol. It is a very early model. Early 70's. I am not interested in shooting it nor do I need it for protection. However, the gun hold some sentimental value for me and I would like to break it down and clean it. The problem is I cannot figure out how this thing breaks down. Does anyone know anything about this gun and how to break it down?
I am not a gunsmith, but I have a 9mm, .22 da, and a .45 awa ssa. I also own many shotguns and rifles because I hunt, but this little gun has me perplexed on how to dissassemble.
I cannot find the barrel release anywhere. I did figure out that when the slide is pulled all the way back the trigger goes in more than normal, but this does not seem to release the barel assembly either.
Any help would be appreciated.

I swear I have one. And I have the instructions. And it states,to wit:
To remove the slide, use the end of your finger or a blunt object (such as a lead pencil eraser) to push the Retainer, located at the back end of the Slide, forward until it stops (about a 1/4 inch). While holding the Retainer depresed, gently lift the rearward portion of the Slide away from the Frame until it stops. Release the Retainer gently as it is spring loaded. Hold the rearward portion of the Slide up and push the Slide forward off the end of the gun.
These instructions are for Raven Arms model P-25 and MP-25.

If you look at the slide I believe it's part # 105 used for hooking & unhooking the slide. Check out this site they have quite a few blow-ups of Guns made & not made today.

I'm told that the Raven and Jennings/Bryan are identical. I have a .380 J/B, but can not remove slide. Where the referenced button is is a red hard rubber extension. What to do? Pushing the red button doesn't turn the trick. Any ideas?

Make sure the weapon is unloaded, once it is confirmed the weapon is unloaded point it in a safe direction, like the dirt floor outside, and pull the trigger.
Once you have done that push down on the black plastic or metal retainer that you saw the red button come out of with a pencil or pen. Than lift the slide up with your other thumb.
Good luck.

Raven P25 assembly
I have a copy of the assembly and disassembly of the raven arms p25 automatic. Also, I have pictures of the differences of the original model, the old model, and the new model. I have a parts list and pricing. I'm not sure how to get this as an attachment to you on this thread. I might be able to e-mail all to you, don't know.
