ruger mk1

I inherited an old Ruger MK1 22 semi auto, and it is in dire need of field stripping and cleaning. Anyone out there that can help me find the directions to do so?

I remember that the best directions I ever saw for fieldstripping a Mk. II pistol actually came from Ram-Line. Somebody there developed a technique that worked really well and they freely shared it. Might work for yours, too; we can try to find a copy.

That said, Ruger will gladly provide you with a free owner's manual for that pistol. I'm sure a quick Google with provide you with their website or phone number. Have your serial number handy; they made a LOT of those.
