Jammed air rifles

I have two jammed air rifles, a Crossman 2100 Classic and a Daisey Powerline 856. I had ben shooting exclusivly .177 cal BBs in each.

Each is jammed because of 2 BBs loaded into the chamber.

Is there any way to unjam the rifles? User manuals for each rifle say to return the jammed rifle to the manufacturer for repair or take the rifle to a gunsmith.

Either way of repair would probably be more costly than just throwing the rifle away and purchasing a new air rifle.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Bill

If the BB's are jammed in the barrel, I would make up / buy a metal rod and try to tap the BB's out. Put the rod in the muzzle and tap toward the breech.

Jammed air rifles

Would the size (diameter) of the metal rod make any difference as long as it fit down the barrel?

Big enough to push against the BB without trying to wedge between the side of the BB and the wall of the barrel. Coat hanger thickness would be fine.
