State of MI changed the CCW law to CPL ( concealed pistol license )
It is now illegal to carry a knife or a non-lethal weapon.
They want to make sure that you kill the guy--

so jH...that means you can only carry a semiauto or a singleshot like a Contender or XP100 in MI? Now...if they had called it a concealed HANDGUN license.....lol
Somewhere..I'm not sure right now..you get a license for either a revolver..or a pistol. You can carry any brand/model but it has to be one or the other..unless you have both licenses.

I like ours. It is a concealed weapons permit. They don't care if it is a revolver, auto, or slingshot. They register the person, not the weapon. NO one knows what I got. And NO one will.

Knowing what I do of you chandler...its probably a model 70 in 30-06. And you just blame the stiff walk on bad knees...lol.

Ha..funny...thats what I have in the bedroom..only 20 ga and #3 for the first 2, 00 for the rest. And a side saddle carrier.
Don't think I have a holster to fit it though...and a duster would be out of place when its 105 degrees.

Airman, it is chambered for either 2 3/4 or 3", but I had to go look. I have 2 3/4" in there now. They were gimme's. My cousin who is a Marshal for one of the counties here carries a really short one (guess he can with his permits), on a sling under his arm.

Exactly how I keep mine. I store it in, of all things, the leg of a pair of sweatpants, with one end sewed up, on top of our triple dresser. Out of sight and mind of the grandkids, but quite easily accessible. Pump, point and click.
