Chinese ripoff of Starline? Maybe some that Starline had made but didn't have the right stamp so they clearanced them to Midway?
It's just too close to Starline to be another brand..they would have sued for copyright infringement.

Nope..no cigar...doing the quitting smoking thing (again). Beer is always welcome though..esp when golf and (rained out probably) racing is on.

Brazil makes some fine handguns..and probably componants as well.
When we went down there in the Navy..our detachment of Seals visited the Taurus factory. Completely modern, clean, great quality, great people...and they got to bring back samples! For evaluation only of course...I'm sure they were all returned...cough cough. I understand they own Rossi now?

I had a Taurus PT92 as well...could never shoot it well. Not the weapons fault..just a bit too big in the grip. Best thing that ever happened was when it got stolen from airline luggage...though they also got my Smith 586 and Ruger .22.
Used the airlines payment (full replacement cost compensation since their agent screwed up their own rules) to replace the last two..but bought a .45 to replace the Taurus.

Funny jH...just saw an ad in the local paper for a SS PT92. Called it a sacrifice sale at $410...I can find new for down to $420-430 and used at $300-350.
