What is it worth?
I have an older model 29 S&W 44 magnum with a 6" barrel, in very good condition, that I bought used around 1984 and was wondering what it might be worth. I have a speed loader, rug, leather holster, and a box each of magnum and special rounds.
Any help would be appreciated.

"special" rounds? What...exploding bullets? ...lol
It really depends on what model it is...29, 29-1, -2, -3. The older originals had great finishes, but the newer ones are actually much better guns.
Could be anywhere from around $400-800..maybe more. Some people want as much as $3000 for some rare models. All depends on the actual age and Ser#. The rug, holster and stuff don't really add much, unless they are all period and by a well known company.

Yeah....that seems real low to me..unless its in really bad condition....
Even a 29-3 with the extras should bring $500 or so. Anytime you sell to a shop..they are looking at what kind of profit they can make.
Heck..I'd give you $450 or so..if it was legal to ship it direct. Don't wanna pay the fees at each end though.
