Remington 1100
I need a barrel for a Remington 1100 12 ga. I know I can buy new but figured I'd check for a used one first.
Thanks,
Bill

I would not recommend buying a used barrel for any shotgun. The main reason is that you do not know the history of it. Do not trust the seller either unless they are a licensed gun dealer.
Lots of guys go to South America and shoot doves. The barrels get over heated and get a small warp in them. Not visible to the eye. The guns are no good then. Most throw the entire gun away after the hunt. Lots of other reasons that barrels could be bad also. Good Luck

1100 is a great shotgun-------I purchased one used--took it to the gun range ( w/ the kids ) for approx 5 years every weekend possible ---- when it finally started to double fire I traded it ( to a gunsmith ) for a different weapon.
We fired about 600 rounds every weekend possible. Best shotgun I ever owned............
