Question about cleaning kit

Hey guys am not an expert on cleaning gun but I have found a cleaning kit like this one Swiss S.I.G. Gun Cleaning Kit - 214 - Military Surplus and was wondering if it has to be used for a specific type of gun or not?

Just like the advertisement says, it can be used to clean guns .30 to .50 cal. The kit may not have everything you want or need but the rods and brushes should be useful.

Welcome to the forums! As PD says, the kit is not "gun" specific, but caliber specific, covering a pretty good range. My SIL put me on to the cleaning "cables". Man they do a fantastic job without having to put all the rods together. Just drop the weight in the barrel and pull it through.

can someone please tell me what the difference is between this 380 ammo. I have 2 boxes of 380 ammo one box with the ammo having a blunt end & one box having a rounded end but both say on box full metal jacket.why would there be a difference in shape if both say full metal jacket.Thanks for your help

i just bought a mossberg 500 with a smooth barrel and was wondering which choke you use with the rifled slugs? i also bought winchester rifled slugs when i bought it but don't want to fire it with the wrong choke in.
