Taurus Millenium G2
Went to a gun show this morning looking for an M&P Bodyguard in .380 for a pocket gun. Found some, but at $400, I looked more. Finally, after holding and pointing a few, I came upon the PT111 G2 in 9mm. At $360 walk out price and two 12 shot magazines I felt more comfortable. I went to trade my Colt Cobra .38, but no one would touch it. Value. So I had to buy outright.
Any comments or warnings (even though it's too late)??

Cobra was too expensive for anyone to even make an offer? Looking at some of the auctions...apparently some people value them very highly...at least 1st models. Just don't understand $1500 for a gun made in the 60's by the thousands....
The Taurus looks like a nice serviceable piece. Never shot that model, but the ones I have, have been pretty nice. The reviews seem pretty positive except for the small size of the manual safety. They call the trigger excellent, though I've never liked the triggers on ANY of the poly Glock-like pistols I've shot.

Thanks, Vic. Yeah, the reviews I read only had the manual safety as a drawback. If you are accustomed to a 1911, then it is in the same place, just not as pronounced. I can live with it. My Cobra was manufactured in 1970, and the dealer didn't want to give it back
, but at the same time, couldn't make a deal.
When it quits raining, I'll pull a Joe Biden and go out on the back porch and try it out. I've got a laser ordered for it, too.
