What a deal! Bragging...
Went to HD 2 days ago for other items. Saw they had a few big safes in the front on sale. Thought about it all the way home and mentioned to my (soon to be ex-) wife that it seemed like a good deal. She agreed and I went back. Barely got one of the last 3 they had.
24 long gun Sentry Safe fire rated brand. Can configure for pistols (my preference). $799 marked down to $399. With my military discount got it for $389.
Been wanting one for years, and now that I may have roommates, seemed like the ideal time.
Might want to check your local stores. Mine went fast once guys got off work. Sorry I didn't post earlier.

Be worth driving if you can find one unsold at a store somewhere.

They weren't listed online...at least not the exact one. They are actually a discontinued 2011 model. Apparently Sentry doesn't sell gun safes anymore, just cabinets and the handgun ready access containers.

Good find and funny you mention it. I was drooling over a large safe that Tractor Supply had on sale for Black Friday. You can never have enough safe space.
