Best and easiest way to sell firearms ?
From your experience, what are the steps and also the DOs and DON'Ts.
I bought many but have never sold any. There is only one or two that I would like to sell to buy something else.
Thanks

You are in the Peoples Republic of California which is not gun friendly. You should carefully read your state's and any local laws regarding firearms. For something that can get you into a lot of trouble I would not rely on the advice of strangers on the Internet.
Just for my peace of mind I transfer my guns through someone with a FFL licence. It's not required here and some don't like the additional hassle and minor expense but there aren't many people locally that want my guns so mine are often shipped and usually across state lines which takes it up another legal level.

We have a few members from California that hopefully will post and give you some advice. I found this page on the NRA website and unfortunately includes this:
"Purchase
All firearms sales, transfers, including private transactions and sales at gun shows, must go through a California licensed firearms dealer. "
Oh, and if you're selling Ruger No 1 rifles I'll be your east coast buddy.

Thanks Pilot Dane.
I have a few ruger rifles but I am keeping those. They make great rifles. I am not big into their revolvers.

My hunting side arm is a Ruger Super Redhawk in .44 mag, 8 3/8" barrel. Never had a better one for that purpose. My SIL has a S&W .500, but that's getting on the other side of surreal for practicality for me.

The thread title is "Best and easiest way to sell firearms?" in bold print. While it's not stated in the body of the post I find it quite clear what the main question is.

Perhaps you need to read the rules and policies, if you haven't already.
