I shot a hog last night, and after the shot, the crosshairs in my scope dropped and look like the attached picture. Is this an easy fix, or is it time for a new scope?
There isn't anything you can work on inside a scope. If it's covered under warranty I'd go that route. If it's one of their premium scopes like an Elite I might consider sending it off for repair but for most of their scopes I'd take it apart to see what's inside.
I carry a handgun & I use a slide on, over the belt, holster. I prefer this style so I can take it on & off as needed. The problem is, the clip that slides over my belt is tearing up my belt... obviously. I have searched & I cant find anything that is designed to put over, or attach to my belt so that my holster will slide over it... on my belt. I thought there might be a leather or even aluminum case/protector that would slip over my belt, then clip the holster onto, or over the protector.
Any idea's?
The front sight on my bull barrel Ruger Mark IV 22/45 came loose. I thought I had the right wrench to tighten it but ended up stripping it. I could get it out and have a replacement on order but, before I strip that one as well, does anyone know what size hex key actually fits this screw? I'm normally pretty good at searching the internet but coming up dry on this one.
