pellet burning stove??

Hello, everybody. I was wondering if anyone has heard of or has a corn or wood pellet-burning stove? the local newspaper had an article on these stoves. I'd never heard of them before. I'm interested because the article says they are clean-burning and only require a 4-inch vent hole to the outside, and burn so clean they don't even make smoke.

The article didn't say how many square feet they heat. I found them for sale on the Northern Tool website, but they don't say how much they heat either. If anyone has any info about them I'd appreciate it. I would especially like to hear from anyone who has one, if you like it, the pros and cons, etc. Thank you.

There are probably other sources, too.

Hope this helps.

pellet burning stove

My grandparents recently replaced their fireplace with a pellet burning stove. They love it. As for heat per sq. ft. I have no idea, but they have LR, DR, Kit., Bathroom, 4BDR.. And their home is too warm for my taste, but definately sufficient for them. Just my info...
