pin holes in my wood stove pipes

HI
The woodstove pipes inside my house are like 5 years old. They have multiple pin holes in them.

Our carbon monoxide detector downstairs goes off after a fire has burned down to ashes pretty regular. The woodstove is downstairs to.

I think that I get lathargic and have a headache way to much, could it be because of the woodstove pipes have little pin holes in them ?

How often should I replace the stove pipes in the house. They are 28 gauge I think. ?

Thanks

Lightbulb smoke pipe

Any time you have pin holes in them. Ill bet that when the pipe is cold you can put your finger right through the pipe. Get a new one. You dont say how big the pipe is but lots of time smoke pipe goes up to 24 gauge. Also the pipe gets bad in the summer. They use to take the smoke pipe down in the summer clean it and let it down till next years cold. They make a cap that you can put in the flue opening for the summer ED
