Fire Boss Fireplace Insert

Hello
I am new to this forum,
I purchased a house 4 years ago that I am in process of gutting. It contains a wood burning fireplave insert with the name FIRE BOSS on front of it. It has NO windows but does have a fan.
I wish to remove this insert and I was wondering how much it is worth to sell ?

thanks

samgoods, Welcome to the DIY Forums.

That would depend on the condition and how popular it is. This goes back to the supply and demand theory. Being used, people will be comparing it to new and any warranties they may get. Good luck.

If you do not have a place that sells that brand, then you could check on other brands that compare. Reduce the used price by a percentage of the new and see if prospective buyer is receptive to that price. Kind of like selling a used car. Start a little high and go down. Buyer feels like they made a good deal and you get what you wanted for it.
Or just ask how much the buyer is willing to pay.
