Gas Fireplace Pilot Wont Light

Hi All,
I am new here. This is a wonderful service that all of you do here.

So, my pilot went out on my gas fireplace and I couldnt restart it. My initial thought was "thermopile."

I replaced it and now the pilot still won't light. I get spark and I get a nice, blue flame but when I let go of the ignition (after holding it for a while) everything just goes out.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks a lot and have a great day.

The orifice may be dirty. You can try sanding with super fine sandpaper. As indicated, take no chances with gas. A carbon monoxide detector is a good thing.
