england's pellet stove burn corn?

I just recently bought a used England's stove works pellet stove (the lowes 1,500sq ft model). I am finding it very hard to find pellets. Has anyone tried to burn a mixture of corn and pellets in one of these stoves. I ask the company and they said they don't recommend it because corn burns dirtier and it could leave a residue in the pot and clog up the holes, but don't normal corn stoves do that to? I think it would be ok as long as you clean out the burn pot from time to time. Any info, suggestions, or ideas are greatly appreciated.

The best bet would be to contact the manufacturer, if the stove isn't designed for corn, stay away from it, or get a stove that is designed for it.
Pellet stoves are designed for pellets, I'm not sure of the size of corn, but if it's any larger than pellets you may jam the feed auger on a regular basis.
