Gas fireplace will not come on with thermostat
I have a gas fireplace and just this winter the gas fireplace will not ignite when the thermostat is telling it to turn on. I have tried to replace the thermostat but it is still not working. The only way I can get the fireplace to ignite is to directly connect the wires that go to and from the thermostat together. I do no know if my fireplace is low-voltage or milli-voltage.
Thanks

Then Id say its the tstat .Now 24V or millivolt
That you have to look or read the paper that came with it. Is there any 110V going to it ?? If so then should be 24 V tstat. If no electric going to it them should be millivolt. Some tstat can work with both the 24V and millivolt. Not all
