I have been getting a smell when I use my fireplace.I don't know if it is just in my head but it seems to be giving me a headache. I don't smell gas it is different. I cleaned everything and blew out the jet like the manual said. By the way it is a 33000 btu ventless by Desa Comfort Glow. Any reply would be welcomed Thanks All:eek:

I have a model 6000TV from Gas Technologies Inc. which was supposed to locate somewhere in MN. I tried to turn on the fireplace using the remote but fire was not on. The pilot light was there all the time so I assume the gas line is all right. I changed the battery of the remote also but it didn't help. When I clicked the remote I could see a small light under the fireplace on and off every time I clicked it. I tried to look for this company by googling the name but no luck finding them, not sure if they are still in business or not. So anybody knows of this company? or any suggestion what I should try next? anything would help. oh, one more piece of imformation, it was working last winter.
