Pellet stove & baseboard heater
Hi,
I'm having a pellet stove installed and I'm being told that I need to move the baseboard heater that is behind where the stove is to be placed. I trust my installer, but just wanted to verify that it is necessary to take this additional step. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Carissa

If you "trust your installer" you would do well to ask them for the reason for moving the baseboard rather than making any comments about it first.
Codes vary greatly in different areas and there could be a good reason.
In case you don't know home insurance policies require that wood burning installations need to be specially noted on policies for your policy to remain in force.
The insurance companies normally will inspect the installation
