Question

We're thinking of installing a small cast iron gas burning stove in our living room to take the chill out and as a source of heat in case of a power failure. I hear that they are very efficient but they are rather expensive and I'm hoping to get some responses from people who have them -good or bad.

Cool

I'm not expert on this, and I don't have a cast iron gas stove, but I'm told by people that have them that those wall-mounted 3-brick gas units are relatively inexpensive and are very efficient.
