Gas Fireplace Valve Flanges

Do they come in different sizes?

I recently had the carpet removed in our living room and it was replaced with laminate flooring. The flange now just rests on the floor, you can pull it right up. I'm wondering if I can buy a longer flange, or do I have to get into the crawl space and push up on the gas pipe while another person screws the flange into the valve body.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Depending on the brand of valve, the nut beneath the floor needs to be run up a little so you can close the gap with the chrome part on top. That will firm up the valve. Check in the crawl first to see what the situation is there.
